In your private database, you can search for companies by their name, phone, location, or the trades that they perform. You can also create and label “Custom Groups” so you can quickly find and assign subcontractors to projects by their qualifications, certifications, experiences, specialties, or whatever designation is important to your company.
To create and/or modify a "Custom Group", click on your name in the upper right corner and then click on "View / Manage Custom Groups".
The Blue Book offers a free and unique service where we can build you a “Custom Group” of subcontractors based on your specified needs. For example, you may need a list of Disadvantaged Business Enterprise companies, an industry trade association membership roster, and/or a labor affiliation list of union, non-union, and/or prevailing wage subcontractors. With The Blue Book’s many industry sources, we can do that for you.
Once your search produces your private list of subcontractors and suppliers, you can select them all or just specific companies; click on “Choose an Action”; then click on “Add Selected Vendors to Current Project”.
